The earthquake in Colombia was shattering. And even more so for Angela Andrade and her husband Javier Londono who owned a glass shop in Quimbaya. Desperate, in debt with everything destroyed, the couple decided to take a leap - Javier would go to the U.S. to rebuild their fortune. He left Angela and their young daughter behind. Soon after, not being able to handle the separation, Angela showed up at his drafty, unfinished basement apartment in New Jersey. From there the young family, now with two children, embarked on a journey of odd jobs trying to make ends meet.
