Li Kebei resides in her 160-year-old ancestral home, named Wanluozi, now a museum. In the mid 19th century, the Li family was the wealthiest family in western Yunnan province. Ms. Li boasts that she has relatives living in Myanmar, the United States, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She has lived in this home her entire life.
